Hello CBG fans!

I am a Navy nurse that just arrived here in Afghanistan working with the British at one of the hospitals here. I  came across this group through Matt. He was very excited to share the wealth and information on a group he seems to really love.

I, myself, could not play music to save my life. Only sing in the shower or in the car. My friend Carrie, however, has been trying to find a guitar to play and I thought this might be a nice surprise for her before she gets folks back home to ship her the guitar she already owns. Figured this would be something new for her to learn, and give her the music playing ability that she is looking for. Can anyone help me give Carrie the gift of a CBG? Who knows, she might be able to teach me to play a song or two?!

Thanks,

LT Virginia Sullivan

Virginia. . . . . where are you?

I got a guitar ready for you, but for the final touches.

Write me at jallred489@gmail.com to share specifics on shipping and other military regs that need to be satisfied.  Also, to add your special treatment to the guitar.

I know, you are not musical -- sing in the car and shower only -- according to you.  Bologna, you can do it!  It's simple and fun, and I'll even send along a cheat sheet to get you started.  You'll be playing hundreds of songs in no time, and then you'll be wanting me to build another, which I will do.

Let me hear from you, ma'am (salute)!

Sam:

I've got a CBG in the mill for LT Sullivan.  Should be completed and shipped next week.  Thanks for teaming up with me.  I look forward to other stuff we may do together.  Have a good move and let me know how you're doing, when you get settled.

Jess,

Retirement?  From the regular grind and the burden of responsibility?  Absolutely!   But, I expect to be more "employed" in retirement than now and in some important ways, more fulfilled.... Besides, grandparenting is calling me big time.... ;-)... feel free to email me  wichitasam@yahoo.com and we'll get with the "LT" (don't you love being around a woman you have to salute?!!! :-) and decide who does a CBG for which one...  the best,  Wichita Sam

Virginia,

Tell Carrie that her CBG will be done tonight and shipped tomorrow...  Thanks for letting me be part of keeping the healers well.  Music is one of the best things you can do for your soul...

the best,

Wichita Sam
