How many of you bug Guitar Store owners to see the "back room"? If you tell them you're looking for junk and project guitars, many stores will let you look at guitars they took on trade that didn't work out.... Today, I got in the back room of one of my fav haunts and got this

It's a shallow body Ovation Celebrity with electric preamp/tuner. I was literally setting in a stack of UGLY guitars. I got it and a 1984 Ovation Collectors series (which needed a lot more work) for $ 25 each. This one only needed a set of tuning machines and strings.... I still have to tweak the truss rod, but I could take it anywhere right now. It's going on CL and/or Ebay.... the profit will finance a lot of parts for future CBG builds.... Or, I might just keep it.... the best, Wichita Sam

I now have Gold and Stainless Steel fretwire available in my C.B. Gitty Crafter Supply shop. Browse on over and check it out! The price is higher, but this is good stuff, perfect for your special build. The gold especially is absolutely beautiful on a darker neck... and it's a bit harder than standard nickel-silver, so it will last longer. If you're building a showpiece, this gold fret wire can really push it over the top. Check it out!

$0.99 tuners, one per order. $5.94 for 6 tuners beats just about any deal I've seen online. No idea as to the quality though...

I also only posted this as a result of the cheap practice amp online at asda. Which via the link you can make it even cheaper. I haven't looked at any other shops within the link site to see what else can be bought for CBG's in the way of parts but there is bound to be something in there.

I'm not one to add URL's or links to other sites Inl my messages but as all the Brits can save money by shopping on line via the link I thought it would be ok as most of us are out to save as much money as possible when building a CBG or shopping on-line for almost anything.
