I'm up in the Huntsville / Decatur / Hartselle area. Folks near me include Microwave Dave, Matt Crunk, Steve Webb, John Nickel (just off the top of my head). Sorry if I've missed a few.

 

Just got off the phone with Warren Shirley talking about the exhibit going on right now at Old Alabama Town in Montgomery. Steve Webb and me and my Nadaband will trek down there on Friday, February 25th for the afternoon.

 

Spread the word, get yer folks to come out, plan on some shade tree pickin'.

I've just started building and playing CBG's. My first two builds were 4 stringers and I just tune them to open G. I've got two friends who own tobacco stores and have been giving me the boxes for free. I wanted to show my appreciation by building one for each of them and wanted to build 3 stringers for them. What strings sizes do ya'll recommend?
