I am a TV/film director from the University of Alabama where I make documentary films and teach. My documentary about cigar box guitars, "Songs Inside The Box," was shot primarily at the 3rd annual Cigar Box Guitar Extravaganza in Huntsville, Alabama. This year's event will take place on August 26th, and once again I am accepting cigar box guitars and cigar box guitar-related donation, which will be raffled off during the festival, the proceeds to benefit Kansas City's Blues in the Schools program.
