Although not strictly cigar box here is my canjo called...The Rust Bucket...A quality street tin with a sapelle neck made from an offcut found at work, bone nut (bone found in the back garden).

Nice stuff...2 hour build...that's my boy!! And I find that bones found in the garden have that Xtra special tone..nothing like old-growth dog drool for authentic back yard vibe.

Cheers Chickenbone, I reckon this bone came from one of the local London Foxes...you know, the ones that keep you awake alllll night long with their squeeling and howling...

Cig Car BOx guitar made from a TK Max chocolate box. Sound hole has part of a vintage car radiator grill on it.

Heres my latest 4string..."The Buckshot"... vintage B+H box, ebonised oak neck with bone nut and 5th fret marker, home made tuners, piezo pickup.

I like the random holes, looks like someone shot it with a 12 bore :) Is it my PC or do your photos look stretched out really long?

Latest build - solid mahogany neck, fretmarks sawn and filled with white, sink drainer soundhole, door key saddle, tuned to open A. Got a nice warm sound and decent volume and sustain.

heres my first build. The box is a bit small so its not that loud. I found using the two bolts to brace the neck through the box meant you could still have a fair bit of room inside the sound box, but still have enough strength to have five strings on it.

Hi there, I'm really impressed by the work i have seen on this thread and i hope that you will forgive me for showing you my tenor ukulele. This was my first 'proper' neck with frets, dots and position markers. It's slightly overbuilt so ia a bit quiet acoustically but really bright through an amp with internal pickups or clip on pick up used.
