Well..its 11.40pm...just got back in the house after being on the road on Boxstock & HGMC  business..and I've got some most excellent good news..but you'll all have to wait until next Friday  to find out!

Confession time - the 'Boxstock' name was overheard at last years festival. And promptly stolen.

Wondered if you guys with websites could lend a hand to really kick start this thing?

If you right click and save the following banner, then put it up on your sites, it may create a bit extra interest.

 

 

For the technical amongst you, you can make it clickable (ie when someone clicks on it they get redirected to the HGMC site);

 

Upload the image to your image gallery as normal.

 

Then use this HTML code;

<a href="http://www.homegrownmusiccollective.com/index.htm"> <img width="300" alt="click me" src="ENTER THE LOCATION OF YOUR FILE HERE" height="275" align="top"/></a>

 

The location of your file will look like something like this;

http://yourwebsitename.com/wp-content//images/LaunchBanner.jpg

 

Adjust the height and width parameters to suit.

Iv already plastered it all over my own site, as has Chickenbone, and its all over Facebook too. If you want to add it anywhere else, please do!

Every little helps to spread the word... think what it would mean if everyone who came to the festival last year got just one friend to join the Collective and come to Boxstock. Go forth and broadcast the word!!!

just added the Clickable Banner to my website - since i started my website i have had over 20,000 hits so i guess it may get noticed as you say every little helps :)
