cut Out a solid body guitar shape, add a lip and fill it with random hardware... fill it with clear resin...

use larger nuts as volume knobs...  screw a dowel in (easy way) or cut and drill a bolt that fits. (Hard way)

cheap fishing weights?  

Ballast?  

Mix with concrete in a coffee can to make a cheap anchor?  :-)

weld/braze together nut and bolt stick figures...

um...

I like all those ideas. 

The guitar body would be heavy, but fun. 

Volume knobs--I need a couple as we speak! 

Fishing sinkers--sure.  Why the heck not?

Bolt stick figure--IOW Ob-Jays Dee Arty!  Fun.
