I've not used that amp, but looks like you can't get much smaller or cheaper!! I like battery powered amps as they are so handy for practicing, but it is what it is: tiny lightweight and cheap, so don't expect window shattering performance!

Other battery amps such as the Roland MicroCube are in another league in terms of the range of tones, effects and ruggedness, and make the Orange look like a bit of a toy, but they are over twice as much.

For guitar and voice

A second hand micro cube is great

I also have an old Washburn 7
That was 14 quid second hand and is a tweed
With a distortion Chanel but no reverb

Used it on my last video sounds ok

My money is on the vox if you sing.
But the microcube if you don't

But the Vox power supply is cheap
so run it on batteries if you don't want noise.

You won't be disappointed with a second hand
Micro cube for £30-40 quid

Mustang and software testing...

Sometimes they come up on internet second hand ..but probably the best sound if you are nit shy of computers

Hope that helps..back to back sounds I recon the mustang, if you sing and play get the vox.

if you want cheap and good last forever the Cube ...

But if its valves you want then I undertand.

I'm quite fond of this one for value, just stick some vintage mullards in it for 3d sound.

if it's valves you want. Its been fettled so it works and doesnt buzz or hum for recording.
