How do I use this string tension calculator?
So I found this blog by Richey Kay:
4 tips to make a CBG play and sound better
He recommends to use this string tension calculator
MPUSTC String Tension Calculator
However I can't figure out how to use it. It is set up for six strings and doesn't like it if you try to use less. Also which "hole" would I put my strings in anyway?
Can't make head nor tale of it.

It states in the instructions, that it will work only on the given templates in the pull down menu? But you can take the information from the strings that you intend to use like E,A,D (6,5,4) strings or A,D,G (5,4,3) strings, etc. & not worry about the information of the rest of the strings since you’re only using 3 or 4 of the strings?

Yeah I know that but Richey Kay said he uses it for his CBGs.Unfortunately he doesn't give much advice about it.
I have the idea we should not use it for the 'overall' tension but just use 3 of the entries and use the figures at the end of each line only. It's which of those 3 and how I'm trying to figure out.

Here’s some reading on choosing strings for a cbg? https://www.cigarboxguitar.com/knowledge-base/how-to-pick-the-right... But, you could just buy a set of the Zilpha balanced tension strings from Chickenbone John, he has different gauge sets that are already road tested for comfort on cbg’s?
