Brickdust! He's just some shaven-headed neanderthal who plays with bunched fists. I, however, am about to unleash one of the best cbg's ever built - for which I will be forever in your debt.  :)

    Thanks for your comment

  • Downtown Vinnie

Thanx bud ,love yer tunes, appreciate it, have a swelll day

thanks a lot Steve, yep no choice but to learn to live without them. It's how it has to be. Having a grand child on the way balances things out, but it's a shame they couldn't have overlapped a bit as Dad was so excited about it!

     we saw you!!

Steve keep on pedalling were are nearly there with CBG - UK Radio........Coming soon!

Enjoy that Lowebow!  A group would be great. I'm "in", if you start it.  :-)   What tunlngs are you using?  I used ezlooper.com to study Seasick Steve's vids.  On his 4-STRING CBG he's using 1,1,5,1. (i.e.: Don't Know Why She Love Me). On different concerts he is in different keys on the same song, but still 1 ,1, 5, 1.  So,I tried that on the LB and sounds great..  Plus, I'm using a two-bolt capo "Ben Prestage" style for a shorter neck.

Ah, you speak of that trifling incident at Reichenbach? That popinjay somewhat incommoded me their. It was most fortuitous that he had not the wit, what with his limited cranial capacity, to foresee my employment of divergence engines to recover mythological artifacts from discarded space!

                                                             ---Yours,

Hello, Steve!  You might have a struggle using a standard fiddle neck on a cigar box unless you find the exact right size box, and I never have!  The box is the hardest part.  Do you have one picked out?  Thin wood is a must, and not very wide at all.  5", unless you are planning to cut out a waist.  Keep me posted on how your build goes!

  • Diane in Chicago

I used a ready-make fingerboard from Ebay, with the nut, too.  Remember that fitting friction pegs is a big PIA unless you have the proper tool set, and they are a bit of an investment.  You can see different head designs by Jim Morris here. He also buys the fingerboards, but makes the necks and heads himself, and then can use geared tuners.

Hi Steve thanks for getting back to me Matey, i am hoping to get up to Boxstock on the 26th never been to one before been to iLL,, are you going, if so be on the lookout for an old fella with a walking stick, that will be me lol, we can have a chat.

I do have an idea of what i want, looking to keep things light now, so have all effects and tone controls in my Little Vox DA5 Amp, so maybe just a volume control on the front and one Of the "flatpup pickups i have seen on photos of your Guitars, would leave the positioning to you as you are the pro.

I think you have influenced Mr.C. He won your CD collection and I'm sure he'll fully appreciate them. Mr.C helps at every fest and jams at our club meets and has an organic troubling blues sound that can only come from working at a mill.

  • A.D.EKER

I am honored that you played "You'll Shoot Your Eye Out" on your show! Who knew I'd be world famous so quickly! LOL Thank you so much for sharing that. I had a lot of fun making the song for the compilation. I hope to complete and submit two songs next year. One will be called "Bound For A Throne" and will be a parody of "Bad To The Bone". The other will be an original tune called "Shop Rags & Stables" and will definitely deal with the traditional Christmas story.

  • Chris Dickens

Your Christmas show went out to over 2,000!  Thanks for the great promotion, man!  You are awesome!
