What do you find most interesting about cigar box guitars? (If you do not enter something meaningful here (at least one sentence long), your membership may be rejected as a spam/bot fake account).
Customer satisfaction. Watching them handle the guitar like an art object. The history of the cigar box guitar also deepens lots of facets of the build.
Damn boy! I just visited your page to see if you've been doing anything lately and I see that big scar picture!!!! Holy shit! Are you OK now? Looks like a pretty serious surgery. Cindy, my wife is in charge of the OR at the hospital where we both work.
Sure hope you are doing fine.....thinking about you and sending positive vibes your way man!!!
Yeah, I have been busy but I've only shown about ten percent of it on here. Mostly I'm doing everything but cigar boxes. They're just too damn small to give any acoustic volume....which seems to be what I'm after these days! Been on a guitar buying rampage lately. A 1965 all mahogany Harmony, '69 Hagstrom, '60s Kay six string and an old Harmony Rocket. Building my own boxes, hammering some resonators and learning how to bend wood. Planning on building bigger acoustic bodies in a cool new shape I designed too. This full time employment sure gets in the way!
How are you feeling these days? Are you back at the house building yet?

I hope you get better, too, Mike! Sending prayers your way.
