Hey Korrigan. I’m just on Nation. Message me and we can talk. I sell my regular porcelain slides for 10$. Post paid. Just tell me the size you want. Length, and interior diameter. Mine are about 3/4 inch interior diameter but I make smaller and larger.. The new painted ones are as yet unsold. Don’t have a price yet. Might be 15. I’d need your address too. Thanks for asking K. Nice to get your interest. .. Dave

Hi There Korrigan! Thanks For the Like ! See you made a study out of it, i tryed to make it look like one of these Museum pieces that shane's keeps popping up whit ! its a genuine old cigarbox & a old neck melted together whit bolts, glue, lacker, time and vision does the trick but its getting harder to make em original we are getting at the bottom of the barrel so to say! Thanks for the Like !  Verry kind Thank you ! Greeeeettssszz A.D.

Thanks Korrigan. I built the case but not the CBG. That's a Rob Sutton build. He's done well over 300 and I like his style. Tramp Box Guitars is his outfit.

Thanks Korrigan ! been playing it lately its got a real fine Buzz ,i like building Cans they go quick and sound verry rezzo like, got this vintage can ,in a recycling store ,in a small town nearby not even a dollar! im over now about cutting them up, still have to find a good small and flat pick up to amp them up! this big one  is loud, but the small ones  need a pick up !

Greeeeeettssszz A.D.   dont get me rong i am willing !!

  • A.D.EKER

Hi there Korrigan thanks it was fun ,once you have the goods its usaly one big rusch to the finisch the lacking and the wax job usaly takes the most time but then the feel is much better when you play, its so much sturdyer and the tone improves when its solid and ridged, there are ones i made that are more constructed whit big pick-ups that do show cracks after a while being stung up  on two of my 4 strings this is the case, now all my boxes get a exstra inner strenght job for durabillety, thats why i like these Diddleys, there is still a lot of exspiriments in that way of building, in cans ,tins, or box. thanks for the likes Korrigan, what was your plan whit the Lace Pickup?

  • A.D.EKER

Hi good thing you will like it !did see a other& earlyer video by chickenbone John where he did put a LACE on a luxery model of his CBG's and it soundded SUPERBE ! whit out tone booster and whit beautiful tone, and in the real close up of the pick-up i did see that the red &white lace loge is a thin 2inchx2inch square and probebly glued on? and underneath there is alu like the striker part of the Matchbox

but you will see then when you get it , i will have to bee patience till the europe site has them on sale! thanks Korrigan good luck on the build ! Greeeeettssszz A.D.

  • A.D.EKER

A one picture tells a thousand words ! thanks man that was verry enlightning ,so what we exspected is treu whit the surprise that it has two magnets in there! you think you can make two pick-ups out of one ? and the ideer of interchangeing the image is ferrywell posible i whoed not sticker it but make it more durable whit a coat of polyester! (Clear) so a lot goes , so we can thank Gitty & Lace for a load of Possebillety's

  • A.D.EKER

That four is a drop dead gorgious! korrigan great artwork on there, and where did you get the smal uke dobro cover? chickenfoot John? the aged copper does it aswell ,do we get a sound sample ? greeeeeettsszzz A.D.

  • A.D.EKER

Hi this is the inner cone for my dobro My USA Regal ,this is my third time i had to fix it up cose of tention it cracks and starts to rattle , i fix it up whit a polyester reinforsment for the cone to take the pressure ,now its oke when you do this take care that the cone hight does not excides the nessesary hight, reinforce the rim but do not make it to thick ! just so you know ,but you probebly know allready Greeeettsszz A.D.

  • A.D.EKER

How about this for a find for on the Lace Matchbook Pickup !!

  • A.D.EKER

Thanks for the site's  hyperlink i  have check them out, and for me, its cheaper to buy a rezzo uke , but the one you picked is indeed the best in the bunch ! did you do the copper cone as well ? or the bisquet alu ?

  • A.D.EKER

take the lightes string set up 008 high e, Diddario, tune open D, or the flat option, thats  the least pressure, good luck Korrigan ! keep it up !

  • A.D.EKER

Maybee a ideer to size down the alu cone, its easy to cut whit a sizzers!

  • A.D.EKER

verry currious how that fiber is gone sound Korrigan!  indeed it llooks good , but you know what they say!

  • Jeff 'Bones' Reilly

    Stocked up .Cheers K.

  • A.D.EKER

My fathers cigars !excilente! fine detail Korrigan! fine looking build, they are getting prittyer and prittyer ! how did the fiber cone worked out ?

  • A.D.EKER

Okie dokie, maybee its a surface to surface mater, whit presure on the cone the surface of the cone has to be eqal to the surface of the innerrim surface or rumble or vibration wil ocour ! or a lous end did fall in ? will be !

  • A.D.EKER

Thanks Korrigan ! I know, but sumhow time gets consumed whit urgent  Matters , little things like a tile from the roof slid down a couple inch, and the birds start a nest, and  because of the opening the wasps come in and build a nest, and the rain comes seeping in and the wood starts to rott and before you know it ,your on the roof the hole day fixing the shit ,that you did not pay attention to, but then again in the nick of time it was set for Over the Hill Disaster !! Thanks be reading you buy some wood today !! Greeeeeeettssszz A.D.
