While I was building Suzy, I was overwhemed by the emotional ties that flooded back when holding Dad's tools in my hands, Even Marilyn saw me break down several times during that build. Dad would give all of us his handiwork, that's why it was so important to me that you have this guitar. Carry on the tradition, right?
Since Marcia, Stacy and Gregg aren't into musical instruments (that I know of) I'm a bit stumped as to what to build them. Maybe jewelry boxes?
Yes I finished the "Blues Man" guitar for Bud, even though it fought me all the way. Gave it to him last week for his birthday and he was thrilled. A couple of other floorpeople were in the office when he opened it and couldn't believe I had made it. Bud's son Ted (also a member here under the name Korruptus) gave him a harmonica so he can be a one man band.
