What do you find most interesting about cigar box guitars? (If you do not enter something meaningful here (at least one sentence long), your membership may be rejected as a spam/bot fake account).
I find it incredible that you can build a real legit instrument from a cigar box, a piece of wood, & basically whatever else you can find laying around. Each one is unique and completely customizable. I can't even describe the feeling the first time I strummed my first CBG. It was amazing that I built it with my own two hands & I had watched a ton of youtube videos but I was not prepared for the amount of sound it actually put out. It blew me away that I had created a real, function instrument that looked & sounded like it does. Of course it goes without saying how fun they are to play & I'm consumed with ideas for more builds. They're just awesome to design, build & play.
Hey, Steebos. I like your builds and loved that back porch jam. I just went and heard it again. You have a cool name or nick-name too. I wish I was closer to that good St. Louis CBG club. I've been there once and had a good time. Thanks for the CBN friendship.
