How cool is this! a 1970's TV shaped radio you can hack into a guitar amp....the best of 3 worlds!

check out this cool 60' silvertone, it has a phono plug in the back...no need to even open it, you can plug right into it and play guitar right away, its 50 bucks on ebay.....a bit expensive but still cheaper than a regular amp

Vintage Packard Bell AR-851 Radio,  early 1960's

the same model used on Gilligan's Island!

talk about a cool guitar amplifier??? at least something to talk about : )

Check out this crudzy raunchy  "hi Fi" silvertone radio that could easlier be a guitar amp!...cheap cheap on ebay!

Replacement of the power supply filter caps are what it needs. Cheap parts for less than 5 bucks electrolytic caps.

that old thing on the right is rad looking!...be on the look out for a cheap used pignose on ebay and stuff it in there.....I buy pignoses all the time in the 25 dollar range on ebay...they have really good speakers in them

Found these two in a thrift store. Grand total for both was under $5. The one on the left, should be somewhat simple to mod. The one on the right is an all tube RCA. It does not seem to have any transformers, and emits a loud hum. Not sure what to do with it yet, in light of my affinity for staying alive, but if I think of something I will let you know...
