Hmmm,...this looks like a likely place to come and hang once in awhile. I'm new to this CBG thing  (had Rojo Mojo build me one a few months back)  and , though I've been lurking around this site awhile, I've only just "joined"...I think I'm 63 (hard to remember for sure sometimes) and my math skills...well...I always cheated back in school, with that little multiplication table cut out of a Pee Cee folder (remember those?)...hee hee...any hoo...I've considered myself an ol' Fart for some time now, and for the past few years, I've been living down in the middle of the Sonora Desert, where I sit and drink PBR with other ol'Fart buddies, and BS, an' play with guitars  and try to pretend that I'm "retired"...

   That said, I've got a "Hmmm" to throw out there: 

  I was reading something, yesterday, about how Pabst Blue Ribbon is being blamed... for causing a "decline" in beer sales/profits of that watered down pizzwater that the big beer corporations are trying to foister off on everyone nowadays. Seems that the new "hip" younguns out there (back East) prefer the "old school" taste and "hipness" of PBR...and are paying up to $8 a bottle for it in bars in New York???

Are you kidding me?...I know that it's a good beer...this ol' Fool has been drinking it for almost 50 years now...I've always liked it...but...$8 a bottle?...

   One would think that those "big guys" oughta decide to go back to the "original recipes" of all the little companies they bought out and watered down, instead of just whine about Pabst still doing it the "old way"...

   Out here, in the middle of the Sonora Desert ( where the nearest Wally World is over 2 hours away), I can buy a whole 6 pack of it for under $5 at the local quickie store!

   Boy, I hope that Pabst doesn't decide to raise their prices everywhere 'cuzz of this crapola!

OK...I'll admit I just had a birthday and gained another year, so that may be part of the problem, but what the hell kind of lack of parenting skills do they teach today? We went to Disneyland yesterday and I'm sorry, but it got to the point where I was ready to whack a few out of control kid's parents. "Back in the day", if I had acted like these brats act now, my old man would have kicked my ass above my shoulders. Today's parents seem to think it's "cute" when their little demons step on your feet or poke total strangers in the butt with their toys. I don't blame the kids, but some of the parents need to be shot!

Sorry about my ranting, but I believe that parents should control their offspring  rather than just ignore their antics and let them run wild and think everyone else enjoys their behavior.

I'm better now...I think my meds are finally kicking in.
