The Women's Group

This is THE place for woman and girls to connect with each other on the CB Nation. We've got nothin' against the guys, but sometimes it is nice to just chat with the gals - share experiences, ideas, triumphs and challenges. Come on in, Gals!

Congrats to the women in the group who did songs for the Christmas CBG Album! Really - Gals - you were fabulous, as were all of the other performers on the CD! If you haven't downloaded it yet, run - don't walk - the the front page to get it! It's free, and I would have paid money for it! Bemuzic and Skeesix - you ROCK!

Welcome ZebraFish to our group. Hi. I am glad you found our group.
Yes, I did alot of research first and looked at alot of CBGs; I haven't looked at all yet. I am in the process of trying to make my first tin CBG. Just finished cutting the holes in the tin. That was somewhat tricky using a diegrinder; it cuts a nice straight line, but it goes so fast, you can cut past your mark. So, I swapped to medium size tin cutters. Cutting by hand is slower, but you are less likely to cut past your mark. I cut some, then measure--a slow process. Anyway, that is what I have learned so far. Happy looking.

Welcome Zebrafish. I have to say Cigar Box Guitars and Ben Prestage changed my life too. Glad you found us. The Nation rocks!

I too was quite shocked to hear about this as well and really surprised that this sort of behaviour was going on here. I think that its really sad that grown men should resort to bullying tactics like this.

Lana Rae, that is very disturbing that you are being harassed by members of this site. It is uncalled for, very mean. I, personally, think you should stick to your guns and stay as the head person of the group.
I support you all the way. I had no idea that this was happening to you on this site. I am so sorry. It has to be hard to deal with. They are acting like boys in school hurting someone just because one guy tells them to. That is stupid. These men should be banded from this site completely; we don't need this kind of members. If there is anything I can do, let me know. This is not right. This site should not be misused to hunt a girlfriend.
