I just got the book from Amazon that Shane recommended and it rocks! Apparently a lot of us have been ordering because one seller told Linda that they had a recent run on these books! Way to go, Gals!

Glad to know folks like the graphic.... I thought it was pretty awesome when I saw it, but I didn't know what book it was from until Shane popped his head in to say hello....

Hi, if anyone is wanting to get as slide I have just got a MojoBone Works one which I would highly recommend!!!
I got a stubby slide which Randy made exactly the size I wanted….he makes each one individually by hand and it’s a real work of art! I’ll put a link to some photos below so you can see how beautiful it is, with hand carving all round the edges.
He also threw in some amazing extras as a surprise which you’ll see on the photo – a bone and wood pick, a bone sound hole cover and some bone nut planks….he also gives you some adhesive moleskin to put inside to make it fit just right : -)

I like this graphic verrrry much! Let's keep it! Where did you find it? I collect old photos and postcards with women playing stringed instruments, especially guitars (as well as photos with current women guitar players). I use them as a screen saver for my computer. If anybody is interested I can send you some of them, but some are copyrighted, so if you use them, it can only be for your personal use.
Will unsubscribe from the Ladies League. This is awesome! Rock on, CBG women!

Hi Y'all! Good to see you here Rinnie, Shelly and Dianne! Glad you like the Avatar -- Rinnie, I think I remember something about you doing the graphic for the other group - do you want to come up with something else for this one or do you like what is there? Also, now that folks are making the journey over here, could you please consider unsubscribing to the Ladies League group so Shane can go a head and shut that one down? There is a lot of confusion about having the two groups, and the more grounded we get in one, the better off we are as a group, and the easier it is for new-comers to find us....

SAM!!!! You are one of the nicest, most helpful fellas on the Nation, but what on earth are you doing in our group other than causing trouble??? I saw that private "guys only group you started and think it is a hoot! I am so glad to hear that you have been fighting for women's equality - some of my dearest and closest male friends have done so as well.... We all know that there are many a good fella out there such as yourself! that isn't the point of this group - the group is really just a place for the women to hang and get to know each other and provide encouragement! But you know and I know that you are here to Rib us.... so I know you won't mind when we politely show you the door! you can read what we write about you without joining - we won't shut you out like you did in your new group for the guys only. (Lord only knows what you fellas are talking about in there!!!) Sam, you are a peach of a guy and I adore you, but get out of our group!

Hey, wow, I had heard that a guy wouldn't be welcome here.....

Anyway, my name is Sam (Wichita Sam) and I know and love women (my mother, wife, 3 daugthers, 2 granddaughters and a lot of friends.

I won't make much noise, except to remind you that while some guys are sexist jerks, there are a lot who have been working for gender equality for all our lives...
