(It's not a problem, it's solution)

Right now I'm in one of my "experiment phases", trying to master (well, learn) playing fretless CBG without the slide. Keeping all 3 strings low with my fingertips is not so much a problem, the spacing is.

In some positions on the fingerboard I don't manage to keep 3 finger "in line". They tend to take position like this:

The solution could be:

a) wider spacing 

b) "skewing" the nut and bridge

I already own some instruments with wider spacing (my bass department), no problem with that, but I don't want to reduce my CBG to "yet another guitar with rare strings". So a) is not the solution.

If I "skew" both nut and bridge (more or less parallel - to maintain the constant scale) I can still play my tunes without "crowding" my fingers on small areas.
