Steampunk to me is like the sci-fi of the early industrial revolution. I really dig 20th century art deco and the art nouveau of the Victorian age and steampunk fits into those realms as well. 

My wife is an Etsy crafter and some how managed to have somebody send us some gears and steampunk parts for the cause of my CBG. She gave them to me for Christmas so now I have to figure out how to configure everything.

I have a cheap electric guitar that I'm going to steampunk too.
