hello

 I play an array of Instruments from banjo to hurdy gurdy.
I picked up a Guitar Dulcimer 3 years ago and thought i would Make a cigar box version.
this went by the wayside and unfinished.
Then i discovered the Diddley Bow.
I finished the cigar box diddley 10-20-2011 with a Camel Snus resonator.
I will be putting a Transuducer in next and give it a wirl.
will post pictures soon.
I have also Just ordered a custome Cigar box Fiddle
with a Strum stick dulcimer neck from Blaine Horlocker who made my dulcimer.
He really likes a challenge. will send pics on that also.

i just joined a few days ago so i am just trying to catchup on some of this stuff.i'm from youngstown, ohio how far is that from speal's.?it sounds cool.all the blues bars here turn into dance clubs thanx to the damn kids here.but then all the clubs die out shortly after.they all want to be too big.noone wants to think small first

Well Shane thats one way to get rid of them. There is an audience who will never get it and you don't want them taking up a seat from the ones who do get it. I have been asked on more than one occasion if I know the refrain from playing. I allways use that as a que to turn my amp up louder! If its too loud your too old used to printed on the back of my olf favorite kiss concert shirt, the rule appys here

sadly, of course, the corporate swine at A-B moved brewing operations to NJ a few years ago. what a travesty to tradition.
