If you are new to playing your dulcimer, here is a good starting place for tabs. The notation system is very simple and explained at the bottom of each page.

And here is a blog that is collecting strummer notation. If you are using the number system, this will work for both stick and mountain/lap style dulcimers.

Hi All...
I have some songs for diatonically tuned one-stringers (maybe a couple requiring 2 strings) on my personal blog on CBN. If you are into chromatically tuned instruments, try this link instead. All these songs assume you are playing a 1-5-1 tuned instrument (D-A-D', G-D-G', etc.), but they have been arranged to be played on 1 string (with maybe a couple of exceptions). Enjoy.
