 coat hook and metal shim 

these  give you  more   of a  "wow"  effect   than  a" wah"   or  wooo  wooo   ,,  but   same   idea .

Got an idea of using a regular brass door hinge, but still working it out ... planning to use one side of the hinge, drill holes for the strings in the hinge pin, then bolt the hinge plate to the end of the box or bottom of the neck. String the strings through, and you get a kinda Bigsby-like thing.  That's how it looks in my brain, anyway - we'll see how it works in real life (my brain is NOT real life ...) when I'm done.  Need to work out a handle ...
