hello from the Netherlands

Hi everyone, i am a Punker and i play and have build CBG-style metal banjo's, one from an old mercedes hubcap and one from a small traffic sign, and i am planning on building a few more banjo's and/or CBG's to reach the market in the Netherlands, for those who are not so technically skilled, because i believe everyone should be able to play music at a reasonable price. I will make the instruments from recycled materials and if people are intrested i'll sell 'em for the what it cost me to make them; non profit, so everyone has a fair chance of palying music.

the hubcap apears to have a lighter colour than in the real world due to the flash of the camera being blue-ish rather than white, also the dogshit sign needs some work to be done; new strap, the turd wil be repalced with a foto of our minister-president, some draw-on frets etc.

heey, ik ben zelf van plan een banjo te maken als volgend project, ik heb al een bas en een gitaar

zijn er nog dingen waar je rekening mee moet houden, of heb je nog tips?

hallo, of ik tips heb voor een banjo ligt aan het materiaal voor de body, ik heb een metalen wieldop en een "verboden te poepen" verkeersbordje, en voor beide heb ik een soort 'neck through' constructie, als je een echt vel gebruikt kan je een soort diddley bow maken maar dan met een brug die op het vel steunt in plaats van de plank, waarbij de plank over het vel heen gemonteerd is.

ik ga zometeen fotos uploaden, ook zodat je de constructie van mn banjos kan zien

zelf heb ik ook een echte basgitaar gebouwd, wel met een nek van een oude, goedkope bass

hier wat fotos, die van dat bord ga ik nog een paar aanpassingen aan doen, bijvoorbeeld frets tekenen, de drol vervangen door de kop van onze minister-president, nieuwe band er aan maken, en nog een aantel kleine dingen
