News from HGMC - Hollowbelly featured in TV pilot show with Gordon Ramsey!

Yes folks you read that right! HGMC have been approached by an independent film producer to take part in a TV pilot..and of course, we've put our best man on the case...the one and only Hollowbelly.

The show will feature 6 acts, and is called "The Venue"...it's free admission if you want to be part of the audience. The aim is to put on a party vibe...so there's free hotdogs, icecream and popcorn...though you'll have to pay for your own drinks. It's sounds like it's going to be an interesting and entertaining evening....I can't tell you much more, but the combination of Hollowbelly, a marching band, a dwarf and free icecream already sounds like the makings of an entertaining evening !! Rock on - it's 21st century Variety Music Hall!!!

If you want to go along and support Mr HB and maybe get your face on film, the filming is on Thursday 24th May at The Beacon Court Tavern, Gillingham, ME7 5TP. Doors open 7.00pm for 8.00pm start...tell 'em Mr Chickenbone sent you.

We've had few more details in from the organiser. It looks like Hollowbelly will be performing 2 numbers and be in conversation with the show's presenter to talk about his music and the cigarbox guitar scene. Malc will be in attendance with the HGMC banner and flyers...so if you are in the area, get yourself down there and catch a bit of top notch Northern Punk Blues from the guv'nor himself ...be part of the show and have a good time!!!

Well...it happened, and Hollowbelly took the BellyBus out and did the show for....so watch this space for further news. We've no idea if/when/where this show may go out on air, but the guy responsible for it, Lee Phillips seems to have pretty good reputation (Bafta winner etc etc...)...so here's hoping.

If you weren't there on the night, well OK, it was Gillingham, not LA, but you did miss out on the female dwarf security staff,...and the opportunity to rub shoulders with Gordon Ramsey...yes folks, exalted company indeed.
