  I haven't started on one yet. Just reading up, getting prepared, and looking for material sources. Currently I'm thinking of trying something simple to begin with, see how it turns out, and go from there.

  Yea, I made em all myself.  I'm from North Augusta by the way.  I mostly just play in my man cave.  Sometimes I'll get with a band and play harp at their jam sessions.

My maiJn interest comes from watching a friend who lives in Easley who has built several they really look interesting and who can resist the quality of a handbuilt instrument even if it ends up as a display piece.   Thank-you!  Would love to know a source for a good set of plans to make a cardboard dulcimer.  My oldest son (in elem school) would like that to be our next project together.
