"Thanks" Uncle John, Yes!, I did build the Box, and I do like the Neck, although the hardwood timber I used could have been a bit better (grain wise), surprised myself with both these projects, as I didn't think I had the patience to accomplish either of these tasks, but I did, and enjoyed using a few of the "Old School" methods and tools; Handsaw, Rasps & Spoke Shave etc.
I've taken the One Piece Neck a step further in the build I'm working on at the moment, will post soon.
"Thanks" Jim Morris, no, not a fence picket, it (along with many more lengths I still have) was 2x4 timber left over from my Building Trade days, where it was used for scaffolding purposes.
