I second that Soul, had a brill time. For a newbie like me the knowledge and friendship I took home was great, better then any book. "Is there a drummer in the house?"    Gandalf.

HI good people..a big thankyou for turning up and supporting this weekend, whether it was for the open mic or the workshop. I'm just back home...3 days on the road..an open mic, workshop and a guitar show....400 miles driving but definitely worth doing. I hope those of you who came thought it was worth your time.  Thanks again.

thanks to john for sorting this and letting us loose in Barnsley.  And please accept my apologies for being drunk and shambling again.  Nice to meet some new people, and a bit of a chore to see JuJu again, but he's not allowed to get the train on his own...  

and soul - I don't want to ask why you have a soggy bottom.  Just glad I didn't have to sit on that chair after you.

OLIVER REED wasn't drunk and shambling compared to the guy on the drums... I loved the way he still managed to have his shirt tucked in though. Pure class.

Thanks guys for coming to the open mic - Our normal open mic is a thursday and I would like to invite you all to come join us It was a very special night and the club and myself would like to have you all back.
I am slowly but surely falling into the cbg scene and love it , waiting for CBJ to get my guitar built - and at some point I will have a few homegrown bits and pieces to show you guys! - now what should I make with all those boxes and tins I have just been donated. mmmmm watch this space
