It took me several days for my approval also, but after talking to a few of the Gold Coast Twangers at a recent event it seem mostly cigarboxnation is used. Still good to keep in touch on the other one though.

Had a great day at Kenny Hays place at Jimboomba yesterday with Mr Twanger himself Gary Martin. Bit o building, lots of talking, some playing. It surely was nice pottering in the shed to the sound of CBG's being played. When the shed got too hot it was under the trees for some CBG tips from Gary. 

If you get a chance to have a day at Kennys place your in for a treat.... thanks again for your hospitality & generosity.

Had an impromptu workshop come skills day yesterday with Gary and Penny. What a fantastic opportunity and time it was sharing ideas, construction techniques and rifts. Noodling around the back yard being driven mad by kids and dogs. Looking forward to seeing the end result of your build Penny and catching up with you again soon Gary. Thanks for the great day.

Hi Guys...You beat me to it!!! THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR MAKING THE  WORKSHOP HAPPEN!! I couldn't have done it without you. I mean I R-E-A-L-L-Y couldn't have done it without you! It was a joint effort and I know, collectively, we turned a few more people on to CGB guitar and how cool it is. Fantastic. So thanks you Gary,Troy, Penny, Furry and Mike for being willing to share your knowledge , your enthusiasm and.... your Cigar Box Guitars!! ...with the people at the workshop. I'm still pinching myself. With all the filming and what-not i didn't get time to hang out which was the only downer but stay tuned to the Cigar Box Hotline...We'll dream up something else!  Peace out...thanks...Soul

Thanks Soulman for a most enjoyable cbg workshop. I was suprised at how many people came out of the woodwork(!) for it. Great to catch up with Penny, Furry and Gaz, and even better to meet some like minded souls. And welcome to the twangers, Dave. Good to meet you. Big thumbs up to a sunny soulman day.

CGBG WORKSHOP TOMORROW..
