Hi Guy's, does anyone know what has happened to the Australian site?  It looks like someone forget to pay the rent!  In all seriousness is that it closed down?  Cheers Russell Continue

Hi
Sunday was alot of fun and it was nice to see Gary is in fact human and not a dog. But hey if he was that would have been cool too. Thanks for the great vibes mate and for giving us a hand with the gear.
I've uploaded some photos onto my page.
Nice photos Penny. Yeah it's a cool little place.
There was a professional video guy there and i hope to get hold of some of that footage soon.
I have a few songs that were filmed and will post soon. My computer is full!
Caroline and myself were wrapped with the gig and alot of it was new stuff which is coming along real nice. We hope to record soon.
I will keep you all posted gig wise.

Nigel & Caroline playing up a storm. Did they push those porkbelly sausages? I've put the rest of the pics on my page as I got a bit carried away...

G'day Penny ,
I use Tasmanian Oak from Bunnings , hasn't been aged for too long tho i don't think . I was born in Tassie , so 1 reason I use it is that ! Any oak is good tho i think from reading stuff on here , strong and doesnt warp too easy . i like the sound of those floorboards tho , they would look and sounds awesome i reckon . The stuff i use is also cheap !! About $10 for 3.6 metres , get about 4 guitars outta that depending on scale . Hope this helps !!

Hi all,
Have acquired some cigar boxes and psyching myself up for my first build.
Love to hear what are your preferred timbers for necks.
Had a thought about aged hardwood flooring (nothing like 30 year old ironbark) but as its not that deep dimensionwise would it be likely to warp?
thanks
Penny
