AZ CBG Group

WELCOME! Anyone is more than welcome to join! This is a place for all Arizona CBG builders/players to get together! I am hoping we can all get to know each other and maybe start something local here in AZ, be it a once a month jam, or what ever!

As far as I can tell, there are no CBG events and or meetings here in the southwest! Them pesky East Coasters have it too good! LOL (I am from Boston, put them snow balls down ye from the east coast)…Continue

Howdy fellow Az CBG players. I just found out our band, "the dirtbilly jugnots jugless gospel jugband" is playing at the Prescott folk festival on Saturday 10-2-10. It should be a great festival with 7 stages and many workshops, as well as a lot of jam sessions. So come on out!!! Bring yer CBGs for some jamming.

Howdy Folks,
Our Band "The Dirtbilly Jugnots Jugless Gospel Jugband" Is playing Wednesday July 21st at the Beaded Lizard Gathering. It's at 2802 E Devonshire in the community center, it's a Phoenix city park. There is a jam session starting at 6:00 PM then the acts start at 7. We go on second. Come on out for a listen or get there early to jam.
Pat.

Howdy folks,
I just found the AZ group. Very cool. We just had our annual Blues box Cigarbox guitar mini festival at a little coffee shop a couple of weeks ago. We have a few folks get together a couple times a year at "a Shot of Java" coffee shop in old town Glendale. I'd love to have some of you join us next time. It's very low key. We set out the tip jar, everybody plays a few songs, we sit in with each other, B.S. and just generally have a good time.
Looking forward to meeting y'all, Pat.
