BACK TO BASICS - A four min track of me thumping a pile of books for anyone to add to!!

Right this is a blank canvas for anyone to join in on.

I'm a bit worried that some people think that they won't be able to do anything "good enough" to put on here.....so if those backing tracks were a bit daunting, here's me thumping a pile of books, which is about as basic as it gets!! I looped it to make it 4 mins long.

Imagine this as a casual jam.... what you record doesn't have to be perfectly recorded, or perfectly played. Lets just have some fun!!

This track was was used in the infamous "Bed Warmer Blues"!!!....and I actually bruised my hand doing it, so it would be good to get a bit more back from it!!

IF YOU WANT TO ADD A TRACK, right click, then choose "save as" to save the THUMP to your computer. Record something along to it then post your track back on here.

If we get enough tracks I can mix them together...or anyone who wants to can do that once the tracks are up here. We might even be able to make several songs!!

This is the first discussion I've ever done on here, so PLEASE someone add something, otherwise I'll feel like I've thrown a party and no one has turned up : -/

wav is fine David, thanks!! Will check it out later : -)

Gotta say it is just the first bits i found in the samples. just a little test run !!

WAV is fine for short bits, but might run into problems with file size limitations on longer tracks, good for now!

yeah there's a 7mb limit on here, so only good for short bits

Zip files to big computer says NO will find the link though :-(

Drum samples and more.

mmm I prefer hitting books,lol!!

yeah i know :) I think i used to much salt and pepper lol. And i am very new at this thankyou for being honest.

Well it's a phase I'm going through..doing things in a basic way. I have loads of loops and stuff that came with my music software and they can be fun.

Maybe you could start a new thing...others may well be into it : -)

Oh I forgot to mention Be, there is a VST that you can download for free (from memory) called G snap and it will drag stuff back into tune.  Thats what I did for Something Jellyfishy.

G-Snap just download it and save to the folder called VST in your music program.

I'm sure I've got that...seem to remember I didn't get on with it?!

lol... its all coming back to me... yep... future ref I'll do the Gsnap...
