I'll be retiring soon and moving.  This means downsizing, so I will start selling off old and new CBGs and other guitar related items.   One of the things I'm doing with all my CBGs is ship them in a custom foam shipping container that can be the bones of a custom carrying case.  In the slide show below, I show a foam shipping container that I transform into a carrying case with spray glue and cloth and duct tape.

Time to sell them, if only to get them out from under foot...  At these prices, they are great wall hangers or even could be bought for their parts.  Never can tell... early Wichita Sam's might become collectors as part of CBG History...... thumbnail pics for moving sale CBGs, more to come.  All prices include shipping to the continental US.  If interested, click on the pic and you will go to my photobucket account with more closeup of all the CBGs.  If you have questions, email me... I can do more pics or post a youtube so you can hear the CBG.

Last Chance!  Any CBG bought and paid for overnight (April 29th) can still be shipped Saturday April 30.  After that, nothing will ship for 3 weeks as I recover from surgery.  Thanks for the great response... More to come about Wichita Sam Custom CBGs in late May....

Please don't expect to buy custom Wichita Sam CBGs at these prices.... I will only build 20 custom, signed and numbered Wichta Sam CBGs per year in the future.  If you want a CBG that reflects the experience of over 275 builds (well over 400 if you count workshops and kits), please contact me and we will discuss your requirements.

thanks,

John,

Thanks... I was priviledged to work as a chaplain at the hospital where I'm having the surgery.  It is a level 1 trauma center with the best gear available... my surgeon is that "heavy airplane captain" sorta of guy...50ish, gray hair, years and years of experience and a quiet confidence that make you feel good.  Prayers will cap of a good plan for the cure...

Hi Sam.

The very best for the surgery. What comes through in all your messages that I have read here is a great attitude and I am sure that will do much to help you sail through. I'm sure everyone here will be with you on that day.

Best wishes.

John,

I'm have prostate removed on May 2.  After a slightly elevated PSA, they found a few cancer cells in a biopsy.  Caught it very early and Dr. says very high 97%+ chance of cure....  I will gladly receive any and all prayers.

thanks,

Sam

Hi Sam!

Congratulations on your retirement.  I got a bit of birthday cash and am interested in #139 if it's still available.  My wife and son have been playing with a dulcimer group and I've joined them on a baritone ukulele a couple of times.  I think a dulci-strummer from Wichita Sam might be a worthy addition to the group...not to mention, an honor to own.  If it's still available, could you send me an email (raytheotherray@gmail.com) with the total cost with shipping and I'll confirm and send you a check.  If it's not available, then I wish the buyer many happy hours of musical enjoyment.  My second choice would be the 20" marked # no # in the pictures.  Let me know if either of these are still on the market and what I need to do.  Thanks and, once again, Happy Birthday!

Ray,

# 139 is still available... just Paypal $ 45 to me at wichitasam@yahoo.com and I'll get her out to you.  The price includes shipping in the "lower 48" and a custom shipping container that could be completed into a neat carrying case....

Thanks,

Sam

Good luck with the surgery.  I wish you a speedy recovery.

When you're getting back to "milling" around I am interested in WS #182, that is if it's still available.

sent you an email.... I can box it up and get my son to mail it later next week... thanks, Sam

Is 144 still available? Do you have any others? Interested. Email back.

Ted

I'd like WS 220 when you're all fixed up. Get well soon

Barry
I still have it... Won't be able to box it up for about a week... I'm going home tomorrow, but will be on bed rest for a while...  If you want to lock it up, paypal $ 10 to me at wichitasam@yahoo.com  and I'll invoice the balance to you when I'm ready to ship.  Be sure to put # 144 in the notation...  thanks,  Sam
