St. Louis MO. CBG Club/Workshop

We are organizing a CBG workshop held one Saturday a month at the 61 roadhouse & kitchen in Webster Groves MO. (St. Louis Area). This is also the home to the St. Louis CBG festival each year.

Bill Kunz of 61 has been generous in offering us a place to meet, practice, discussed ideas and what ever members decide to do with the time. Gary Herget and myself are contacts for this club and are open to ideas to make this a fun club. As soon as we have commitment from members, we can set up a Saturday each month to meet mornings. We haven't set a day or start time as of yet. We need to know who can commit at least to a start up and discuss as a group when and how we want to run this. Possibilities are great!

Got new pickups in the Auto-RAT-ic Rhythm and Blues Cosmic Glider! Both work! Guitar has never sounded better. Got a new song I'm hoping to perform this Saturday. Then at the KC cigar box fest. Look forward to seeing everyone again this Sat!

Are you kidding? I'm on my third set of stings on that thing. : ) I did finally take a sander to the edge your arm rests on. That extra sharp edge kept digging into my arm.

Had a really great club meet this August weekend. Couple awesome jams along with a new walk in drummer. I'll have to find a UBS cable for my phone to upload vid. What we need is an appointed cameraman to keep an archive going.

I have certainly missed coming these last couple of meetings. Ella and I have been working on a few dulcimer pieces, but that's the only interaction I usually get with other musicians. That's why I always look forward to to the meetings because I get to learn from other very nice and very talented people and just have fun with music.

We decided to stay home and finish my banjo so it'd be done before school starts this week. We're going to stain it today and it should be finished by next week. See you all in September!
