This is a good video. I wish I had found it before I figured most of it out on my own.

Your disclaimers crack me up.

That's an online tool. once you set your options, choose the "Save to Disk" button on the file format you wish. I use PDF. When you print, make sure the in printer options it's set to 100%, not scaled to fit.

I have actually starting using my T square to ensure they are exactly perpendiclar to the side of the neck. And the scalloping is really not all that much of an issue. I only run the sanding sponge up and down the side of the neck for a couple of passes, just enough to get the burrs off the fret wire. It really doesn't take off much wood to speak of. You might try making a test neck and try it yourself. You may find it works to your satisfaction.

Yup, I feared it might do that. Sorry, I'm too fussy about it. My way definitely takes longer than yours. And I'm seriously impressed by your use of fingers as a guide when starting your fret cuts. No way mine would come out truly square if I did that. Hat off to you!

It may create some minor scalloping between the frets, but it has not detracted from the playbility at all.

Love the foam sanding block idea. Doesn't scallop the wood between the frets?
