Profile Information

How did you learn about Cigar Box Nation?: I saw Seasick Steve playing one , then searched the web came here as well as other sites and of course youtube .

How many instruments have you built so far?: Around 70 , 50 i have given to relatives and sold a few to keep on building others were binned or taken apart for other buikds

What do you find most interesting about cigar box guitars? (If you do not enter something meaningful here (at least one sentence long), your membership may be rejected as a spam/bot fake account).: I just love the whole concept of it all from going to the cigar shops wherever we go and seeing what's for sale then looking in my parts draws and coming up with something that resembles and sounds like a guitar .

At 1:24am on May 11, 2010, Wes "I'm Baaaaack" Yates said…: Welcome aboard, Steven! You will find lots of helpful folks and information here on all things CBG (CBU, CBB, etc.) Feel free to poke around, ask questions, and post your stuff (photos, recordings, videos, etc.).

Up in the Free Resources menu at the top, you will see a number of plans for building and playing cigar box guitars/ukuleles/banjos/dulcimers/violins. I encourage you to download any of the plans, take a look at them, and ask questions from there. Also our site is VERY searchable. I bet you your questions have already been asked, so take a few moments and look around.

Join our Chat sometime (see the bar at the bottom of your browser page). Keep in mind that tho the chat window says there are X number of people online, not all may have the chat window up.
