I am looking into making my first diatonicly fretted cbg, and know very little about this scale. Can I use the same scale length I have been using, then just mark off the frets you listed in your post? 0 2 4 5 7 9 10 11 12,…"
"Sorry been away
All thread is also called threaded rod in some cultures
it's just a long long screw with no head, you can find it in different sizes at HD
I have also just cut the head off a screw or bolt before
"I use various sizes of all thread for my nuts
I just use my fret saw to slot out where the nut should center and then use whatever size all thread I will be using to file out the notch for the nut
I never glue it down so that the user can raise or…"

I'm thinking about using them as business cards…"

That is also the handiest saw I have for general cutting
"I'm lucky there also
I'm fat old broke and ugly, so there's never any romantic tension
But her son has been playing since he was a small boy and I built him a simple 3 string CBG out of parts from one of his old guitars
I ended up…"
"I guess I'm lucky
I use a local UPS/FED EX/USPS store that I have used for years now
I recently shipped two to one customer and the lady at the store didn't like the way I packaged them, which would have cost me around $20
"I am stuck on using the 234 strings,
The downside is that it costs me a set of strings per CBG
I just tried splitting a pack with two guitars but it didn't sound right to me
I got a good deal on some Minwax Puritan Pine that was on the…"
