HI! I saw your question on the chat, and the answer is yes, I use an E Bow on my box guitars. It's a bit tricky since I use piezos, but it works. I've seen one used on an acoustic guitar, and that told me it should work. It adds a whole new musical texture. CHEERS!

Hey, Nick! Hello from western USA. If you have a question, see if somebody else has asked it (odds are, they have). If you type the word "frets," for example, in the little search box at the top left corner, you'll get several pages of discussion about frets and fretting. Look at the photos people have posted. One picture is worth 1000 words.

If you can't find what you're looking for, start a discussion over on the "Building a Cigar Box 101" group. Check out the "Hall of Shame" grout, too, and see what NOT to do!
