varnish,polish or bare wood

I'm chuffed to my latest pinky plonk ukukele, however the mahogany neck is bare, should I varnish, polish or leave bare. I did use diesel on my last but im not sure.....any advice

hi mark ,funny that you should see them in the paper, nice people, they came over our way for a bit of camping and played a free gig in our local (the cornhill inn Rhayader) and came back a couple of weeks later for a paid gig. i happened to drop in with a new build to show my mates and they bought it ..i'd only finished it the day before.
