"Many have, it’s well known that the bottom of the box is thinner than the top? This gives you more vibratory response like other acoustic instruments? "

Flipping the Box

I have a few Artero Fuente  boxes that have the pressed paper lids. I was wondering about using the bottom of the box for the sound board.  Being wood I'm thinking a richer tone woud be produced. Blind cutting the box for the neck might be challenging, but doable. I could also glue the lid in place to support the box and then cut free the bottom free so facilitate the build. Has anyone has flipped the box and used the bottom as the sound board? See More

2nd Build Electronics Questions

My first build was straight out of Poor Mans Guitar love it but now I want a fretted hot rod! My 1st question is. I'm going to use the Gitty Bucker at the neck and I was wondering if a piezo at the bridge would compliment the sound, or is a valid option? With that being said. Using a three way switch for control two volume pots and a psycho knob, should I use a 250k for the piezo and  a 500k for the bucker? Next would the addition of tone knobs be a legit option or overkill? Or? Follow the…See More

I used to play guitar when I was a teenager later in life I started back up, but an injury to my left hand left me unable to play a 6 string. I miss playing then I found this thing called a CBG I think I can play again!
