What do you find most interesting about cigar box guitars? (If you do not enter something meaningful here, your membership may be rejected).
I'm not so much a builder of guitars as banjo like folk instruments. I've never used a cigar box, but cans, hubcaps, and junk I find at thrift stores. I joined a subreddit (gitfiddle) a while back started by Shane Speal, and posted some of my projects. I spoke with him in the comments some. I have ordered some parts from CB Gitty for projects with my Son. (Pickups). I'm more of a acoustic guy myself.
This morning I was checking YouTube for a video I posted last night of a washtub guitar my son built with my help. One of the suggested videos caught my eye was of a washtub bass on cigar box nation TV. I have one similar I built myself. Decided to check out the site and then decided make an account.
