I am currently working on build #6.  I started out as a ukulele player just over 40 (because I wanted to learn a new hobby.  Youtube is a great place to learn instruments (as I am sure you all know). after about a year of self-learning, I started taking lessons.  Then at my local music store some guy made a mistake and ordered a Gold Tone Micro Bass thinking it was a uke. Needless to say, they returned it. My friend who worked their let me know about it. So I fell in love with learning the bass too. (been now playing instruments for over 3 years).

Then When in SeattleI was at the public market and saw Dean from Soul Cat Guitars selling cigar box guitars.  I bought one.  made me fall in love with it.

And it inspired me to build my own.  First one was a snake oil humbucker pickup guitar with a hardtail bridge.  

I enjoyed the process so much i built my second, and so on.
