Thank you Phillip. Ya, amazing how much information you can pack into about a 10 minute video. One of my guitar teachers was fond of telling me, "I can teach you something in 10 minutes, that will take you weeks to get under your fingers"...He also said, "Playing is easy...all you have to do is put in the time and do the work". "It all comes down to Desire"...."How bad do you really want it"?  LOL...Enjoy.

Thanks friend !!

I really appreciate your kind words.

You have a festival in France I've wanted to go to for years, but I always seem to be too skint to go. It's the Hurdy Gurdy festival. Have you been?

I have friends from the folk scene that go and say it's fantastic !

Cheers

Gary

Merci pour les bon mots Phillip. I enjoyed looking at your builds as well. Seems like I'm so busy trying to not cut myself that I haven't posted anything till it's done! It's good to see your works in progress.

Thank you Phillip for  your kind words. When I started to learn Delta Blues guitar back in the 80s while stationed in the USAF down south, I never thought it would eventually lead to this. When I began learning I thought no one was playing this style anymore, because educational material was very limited. Stefan Grossman and Happy Traum's audio tapes were a great source if inspiration. Although, seminars with Woody Mann and Bob Brozman (International Guitar Seminars) really started to make things click. My instructional video CDs are my attempt to recreate how I went about exploring to better understand how to play. Theory alone will not make you improve, but utilized with your interest and imagination, it gives you the tools to see the musical relationships and map out the fingerboard. It is extemely difficult to learn anything all by yourself. Having good mentors to answer my questions and point me in the right direction, for me was the key to breaking through and finding some success. I appreciate all the encouragement I receive from my friends here at CBN. This only inspires me to find other avenues yet untraveled. Enjoy your practice and thank you, Keni Lee

LOL Phillip. I didn't realize until later, after I uploaded the video, that during editting I left an audio clip in the production that should have been deleted. Enjoy.
