Lots of tone and pretty distorted audio. The distortion gets better with a fresh 9volt. I'll post an audio clip soon.
I may try a preamp on the next piezo pickup I try and see if that helps, too. Grounding the bridge/strings should fix all the crazy noises. Your wire guage and shielding counts as well. I wired this one per schematics I found on the web and it worke…
