Nicholas ,,, I used g d7 and c ,,the chord chart for the song showed to play i a e7 and d ,,little to high for me to sing in ,,,, so i kinda butched it up to fit my voice tks for listening and asking

You are right as can be about Highway 61 sounding better/ more bluesy and growling in the GDG tuning. I couldn't do it at the time, but now I can.
