Nice! Was the metal piece that secures the strings something you found, or did you make it? It seems perfect for the task!

- thanks again Mark. the part you ask about is a cabinet hinge, i cut the hinge part off and use it for a bridge, the other part i use for the tail. if you go to my pics and go to page 4, look at the first pic there, cbg 002, you will see what i did. it works great.

Mark C said… - Re: Rough Havanas cbg. The bridge is just a bolt with the head cut off. Coarse thread, so the strings will sit in the 'valleys' and not jump out. Same goes for the nut, though smaller diameter. Very common to do this.
