Backslider Tricone Review

Posted on June 14, 2017 at 9:24pm 1 Comment

I was quite surprised receiving   an email from Milt asking me if he could send me a guitar. I was even more surprised when it was the Paint Lid Tricone. The guitar played acoustically, has good resonance and tone.Plugged in , it goes from clean to dirty no questions asked , very easy to dial in . Oak neck , walnut…

To Shovel Guitar or Not ?

Posted on October 12, 2016 at 11:32am 7 Comments

To shovel or not to shovel  ? That is the  question. Personally I won't be carrying one to a gig, unless maybe...... a Custom Gold Plated Grave Digger Special with Grover tuners ,dual Humbuckers and matching Miniature Casket Case.Appropriate for Seances , Wakes and Halloween parties. I know there are no…

Hi Coco, my amp is now almost finished, on occasion I will still set some nice pictures. The sound is very dense and goes towards the middle and bass. I'm not a problem, I prefer the "Honeytone" with a little less height. Since I hunt the whole but more often by a Flanger or Sustainer, can also be made here appropriate settings. Because of "Prost": 619 breweries exist in Bavaria for 11Mio. People. So we have to do.

Hi Erasmo, the Speaker is a 12" Celestion 70/80.

As wax I take a wood wax for example. From Osmo (I do not know if this product is available in your country). It is available in various colors. Oak, walnut, cherry ... If you stack several layers, it becomes more velvety and more even. Something to be careful with the wood glue. Where glue leaks at the adhesive surfaces, the wax sticks worse. So be careful. greetings from Bavaria Schorsch

You're right Erasmo, but you can see here what happens when you declare you got attacked by cancer: every jack and jill feels a need to give you a sermon about alternative therapies. I suppose Dan made this experience too, but from one of his remarks I suppose he is in good hands. Buggy's ideas are very dangerous for him and others, so to say nothing would have been a crime. I proposed him to discuss the topic with a doctor, but he continued propagating his nonsense: this too is typical for these apostles of the truth, a very pain for anybody who is suffering from an efficient therapy.
