"Thought of that, but it might scare others away. Thanks for all of the nice comments. I posted this a couple of weeks ago via link to YouTube, but it looks like they took down my video. I'm guessing copyright issues over some of the cover…"

Low to high. Use the A (.045) D (.035) G (.026) strings from the pack. Then tune G D G. Now that you know the gauges, you could also just buy individual strings at a local music store too. Enjoy, Keni Lee

I use medium gauge (.013 - .056), but of course it depends on your tuning too. For GDg it works well. Enjoy, Keni Lee

Thanks for the Einstein tale. I don't think I had heard that one. Lol.
My paternal grandfather always reminded me of Einstein. He was a brilliant man who, at times, struggled with "common sense" issues. Papaw also tended to share a hair-do with the good professor. haha.

Hello,
I have started a CBN group entitled, "How to Play CBG" It is my hope and intention to encourage the "Wealth of Talent" here on the Nation to share their knowledge and skill to further the CBG movement. Please consider contributing an instructional "video" link to this group. If you are a viewer seeking instruction, please feel free to write. If you have any suggestions or know other players who you think may want to post instructional "video" links, please contact me. Thank you for your interest and support, Keni Lee

Hey mate thanks for the comment ! Yeah thats right I glue the neck onto the lid of the box... You gotta chisel / router a bit of the neck out so the top of the neck is the same height as the top of the box (so basically you gotta take the thickness of the lid off the neck ) - important to only chisel out the width of the lid so you don't get any gaps.
And then I just cut those slots in the side of the box at the overall thickness of the neck... sorry mate its kinda hard to explain !! It's gonna vary slightly from box to box depending on the thickness of the lid etc etc...
Yep I just braced the box with little bits of timber just for added strength .. not too sure if its affecting the sound too much cos I've done it to all my boxes so far!
Hope I've been a bit of help to ya mate
Take it easy
- Steve
