Made making so far

Made a cookie tin 5 string banjo, sounds great, just finsihed making a CBG (style) guitar with pickup, sounds great and use it more than any of the other guitars I have, making a tube fiddle!!! Banjo cost £15 (tuners and strings) guitar cost £15 (pickup, strings and bridge), violin no cost so far, but not finished...

Hi. I saw that you asked a question about which strings Shane uses and it didn't look as if you got an answer. Possibly you have found the answer elsewhere but if not allow me to pass on what I understand, which is that he uses John Pearse strings which are sometimes advertised on this site and also cigarboxguitars.com. The strings can be found here. Hope that is useful to you. All the best. John
