Each pickup has a three position switch: down for the tone-and-volume-control output, centre for off, and up for the plain jack.This arrangement has two purposes. One is that I can switch different pickups to separate amps. However that is an added extra on top of the main purpose, which is to allow me to experiment with "infinite guitar" type sustain systems. The plan is to see if the piezo can work as a driver using a signal fed to it via the plain jack circuit. The signal will come from an exteral effects box, which I'm still working on. Further reports in due course.
